New User Screen Tutorial

(FYI. This screen is also used to edit a user's information.)

One of the first things you want to do is add users to your account. Each employee / worker needs to have their own user account so they may submit their time. On the Admin Menu screen To add a new user on the admin screen, hit the button. Then on the Add New User screen, type in the user's information. Here's a screeshot below:

On this screen, you enter information for your new users. If, and when you need to edit them, the same screen will be used. The following items are used for each user:

* First, enter the user's email address

* Enter in a password for them.

* Their first name and last name.

* Next, there are three check boxes. Each of these, when checked, gives the user different abilities.

: Top Manager - This ability allows the user to be able to give final approval to submitted time.

: Manager - This ability sets up a user to be able to have other users submit their time to this 'Manager' user. The manager user has the ability to edit their user's timesheet data, and approve it for final submission to the Top Manager.

: Admin - This ability allows the user to be able to set and update setting for the system for the company.

 

Hire Date - This is used for the upcoming feature of computing sick and vacation days. If you're not sure of the date right now, just put in one with a year well before your company was established so it will stick out and will be easy to be found later and update.

Manage Users and Managers Links Screen Tutorial

On the Admin Menu screen, hit this button  to link users to managers and maintain/edit those links.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time Sheet Approval Screen Tutorial

On the Admin Menu screen, hit this button  approve user time to the next level. First, user time is approved by their managers. Second and finally, time is approved by the Top Manager. The Top Manager only sees user's time that has been approved by their Managers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Export Last Week's Time Sheet To Excel Screen Tutorial

On the Admin Menu screen, hit the button, to export user's time sheet entries to Excel. Warning. You must have Microsoft Excel on your computer for this to work properly.
